Frequently Asked Questions

How much can I actually ask for?
Between $100 and $5000. Whether a lender offers you something in that range depends on their own criteria.
Is this offered where I live?
Not everywhere. Our Lending Policy page lists current state availability — worth a quick check first.
I've been turned down elsewhere — is this worth trying?
Possibly. Lenders in our network don't all use the same criteria, and some do work with applicants who have weaker credit. There's no guarantee, but sending a request costs nothing.
Is Tarnlend the one lending me money?
No. Tarnlend is a referral service — we send your request to lenders in our network, and any approval, rate, or term is entirely their decision.
Is there a cost to send a request?
No. If you accept an offer later, any fees attached to it are the lender's and will be disclosed before you agree to anything.
